"Ikaros" is a beautiful design by the well-known naval architect 'Colin Archer', built with craftsmanship that many a yacht builder may envy!
Built with steel plate of 5mm and galvanized, long continuous keel, 2 wooden masts type Ketch and gaff rigged.
A set of 4 dacron sails, made by Gaastra. These are the mainsail, mizzen, furling jib and boom jib. All in good condition.
Central cockpit with cozy aft cabin, fixed spray hood and tiller steering.
The boat offers sleeping accommodation for 7 people divided between the front cabin (2 persons), the saloon (4 persons) and the aft cabin (1 person), has an open kitchen and a wet cell with toilet and sink.
The boat was built in 1982 and underwent a thorough refit in 2015, the owner is selling due moving abroad.
Interior: Completely renewed wood interior (2015)
Engine: overhauled Perkins 4 cylinder - 66hp with only 231 engine hours after overhaul (2016).
Masts: stripped, reinforced and treated with epoxy varnish (2025)
Rudder: rebuild (2025)
Hull: Hull survey carried out (2024, hull in perfect condition!), Spraypainted in green, new antifouling (2025)
